A little bit about me.

I’m originally from Jacksonville, Florida, where I grew up in a family that basically lived outside. Skiing, surfing, camping — all of that was just part of my childhood and shaped a lot of who I am today.

I also grew up singing. Music has always been the thing that made me feel the most like myself, and it eventually took me to Clemson on a vocal scholarship. Even though I loved performing, I found myself more and more drawn to the business and marketing side of the industry. So while I was in school, I spent a ton of time interning, researching, and trying to get as much hands-on experience as I could. One of the things I’m proudest of is a capstone project I created — a full showcase featuring artists from all over campus that I organized and promoted on my own - it was a full house!!!

My senior year was basically me living on LinkedIn trying to make genuine connections in the music world. Thankfully, that persistence paid off and I ended up catching the attention of the interim president of the Country Music Association. That led to an opportunity at her company, Girlilla Marketing, where I spent a fast, crazy, amazing year learning the industry from the inside.

After that chapter, I shifted into a broader marketing and web role. I’m now a Brand Strategist at Speak Creative, a full-service marketing and web design firm. Over the last year and a half, I’ve worked on everything from branding kits and sitemaps to paid ads and SEO — and it’s stretched me in all the best ways.

At the end of the day, I’m someone who loves people, creativity, and building things that matter. I’m excited to keep learning, keep growing, and keep connecting with people who are passionate about what they do.
